A.M. Landscape and Design LLC was founded by Andy Migacz in 2009 after he moved back to his hometown of Lake Zurich after attending the University of Illinois and went to work mowing lawns and doing off jobs to pay his student loans. Knowing he wanted to grow the business Andy partnered with his brother Dan in which then the business grew exponentially until the day A.M. Landscape Design acquired Woodland Landscape Contractors.

Can't say enough wonderful things about A.M. Woodland Outdoor Design - they did a GREAT job cleaning up our main entrance at my hotel, trimmed our trees and bushes, so that they actually look like trees and bushes now and they built/installed a beautiful water feature. Andy and his crew were VERY professional and got the entire job done in less than 2 days. A.M. Woodland is a top- notch professional landscaping company. I was very satisfied with the work! I reached out to A.M. Woodland Outdoor Design for a back yard project at my place of employment. Andy came out the next day and designed a plan on the spot. I had a proposal the following day! Andy worked with me to create a plan that fit my budget, then scheduled the work right away. The crew was pleasant and hard at work all day. They did an amazing job with the landscaping, taking special care of the property and cleaning up when done. My co-workers and I are super pleased with the results!!! Treated timbers to separate our parking lot from our lush new sod, along with planting of beautifully selected dogwood bushes and maiden grasses, and a pretty mulch to finish the overall look. My entire experience with Andy and the crew was prompt, professional, and incredible! I would highly recommend A.M. Woodland in a heartbeat to everyone! l contacted AM based on the recommendation of a coworker. I found them to be prompt, professional and proficient. My project vvas the removal of some overgrown trees and shrubs and seeding the areas so that grass would grow in. I contacted them thru their website requesting an appointment for an estimate. Their production supervisor, Rick, came out for the quote within a couple days. The price quoted was very reasonable, and once we accepted the proposal, the work was completed 4 days later. The crew did a great job with absolutely no hassles, and cleaned up after themselves completely. I will definitely use AM for any landscaping I need in the future, and would absolutely recommend them to anyone without hesitation. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

The team at AM Woodland is second to none. Their work is superior and their customer service is exceptional. My wife and I were selling our house when our sewer malfunctioned. Our front yard landscaping was torn up, a bush was destroyed and a huge mound of dirt and clay left behind. When we contacted AM Woodland and told them of our dire need, Rick immediately scheduled us for a Saturday appointment. Rick and his crew, managed to put our yard back into house showing quality, making it picturesque! The integrity and sincerity with which Rick handled our situation is by far the finest example of customer care that vve have ever experienced. We could not be more pleased with our newly planted tree by A.M. Woodland! We needed to replace tree that was removed near our front door. It is not easy to find "the perfect tree" in mid fall, but Rick at AMLD managed to do so. It is just beautiful. He was mindful of our many specifications and budget for the new tree. It was also done fairly quickly and the men who came to plant it were very knowledgeable and courteous, they cleaned up our yard and walkway thoroughly. Finally, it is just beautiful to look at! I highly recommend AMLD based on our experience. We will be using them for other landscape needs.

We just had AM Woodland redo our entire property and they did an AMAZING job. They take the time to listen and get every custom detail you want on your lawn and they execute with precision. We chose AM for snow removal- and have been pleased thus far. They are not the cheapest snow service in town, but they always show up- and they have a dispatch line that they actually answer! We had a lot of issues with companies not returning calls or emails, but Andy is responsive and gets the job done. We decided it was worth paying a little more to feel confident that we could get in and out ofour driveway all winter at the times we needed to. My husband works very early, has called at 5 am, and they sho up to plow. You can also ask them to just come at the very end of a heavy snow if you want to just pay for one plowing. Overall this is a "get what you pay for" situation. Sure it's a little more than other companies we were quoted- but we didn't want to deal with risking someone not coming at all or not coming on time.
