This multi-level project transforms a steep, challenging site into a cohesive waterfront retreat. A seamless transition from the upper deck landing to the lower patio was achieved with custom retaining walls and natural stone steps, preserving the site’s organic feel. Overhead, a PVC Azek deck with hidden waterproofing creates a finished, protected space below.

Underneath, a post-minimized deck structure opens up the space for entertaining, leading to a custom-designed “boat house” complete with a serving bar and views to the firepit and lake. Along the water, a cool-to-the-touch PVC boardwalk and private beach offer space for lounging, while landscape lighting enhances safety and ambiance after dark.
