A.M. Woodland Outdoor Design formed in 2017 when two homegrown Lake County businesses became one. The iconic Woodland Landscape Contractors & Nursery merged with the rapidly growing A.M. Landscape & Design. This combination has helped strengthen our position in the industry and we look forward to beautifying our community for many years to come!

Schedule A Consultation
One of our design experts will come to your home at a time that works for your schedule.

Site Analytics And Client Evaluation
At the consultation we will discuss your needs and ideas for the space, as well as provide our expert recommendations based on the site conditions. We always make sure to address the health of existing plants and site drainage needs during the evaluation.

Landscape Design/Planning
In many cases, a landscape design drawing is the best way to begin the planning process. After all, you wouldn’t build a house with out blueprints! In other cases, we may just need to define a scope of work and budget to jump in.

Plan And Proposal Presentation
During the presentation, we will walk through your landscape design (if applicable) and thoroughly explain our proposal and plan of action. We break out the project into "Work Areas", with each work area having a detailed scope of work, material selections, and pricing. Ask about our financing offers!

Installation
Once necessary permits and approvals have been obtained (by our staff), the project can begin! Our crew(s) and project management team will arrive onsite to begin the installation. Communication is important in this phase, so our team is always ready to answer any questions that arise. We try our best to stay on schedule, but sometimes the weather doesn’t cooperate; we will always keep you up-to-date on how the project is progressing and when you can see the final product!

Final Walk Through
The job is not complete until you the customer gives the stamp of approval. During this final onsite meeting, your project team lead will familiarize you with your new outdoor living space. We can answer any final questions, discuss maintenance needs, and cheers to a job well done!

"I contacted AM based on the recommendation of a coworker. I found them to be prompt, professional and proficient. My project was the removal of some overgrown trees and shrubs and seeding the areas so that grass would grow in. I contacted them thru their website requesting an appointment for an estimate. Their production supervisor, Rick, came out for the quote within a couple days. The price quoted was very reasonable, and once we accepted the proposal, the work was completed 4 days later. The crew did a great job with absolutely no hassles, and cleaned up after themselves completely. "We could not be more pleased with our newly planted tree by A.M. Woodland! We needed to replace tree that was removed near our front door. It is not easy to find "the perfect tree" in mid fall, but Rick at AMLD managed to do so. It is just beautiful. He was mindful of our many specifications and budget for the new tree. It was also done fairly quickly and the men who came to plant it were very knowledgeable and courteous, they cleaned up our yard and walkway thoroughly. Finally, it is just beautiful to look at! "We chose AM for snow removal- and have been pleased thus far. They are not the cheapest snow service in town, but they always show up- and they have a dispatch line that they actually answer! We had a lot of issues with companies not returning calls or emails, but Andy is responsive and gets the job done. We decided it was worth paying a little more to feel confident that we could get in and out of our driveway all winter at the times we needed to. My husband works very early, has called at 5 am, and they show up to plow.
You can also ask them to just come at the very end of a heavy snow if you want to just pay for one plowing. Overall this is a "get what you pay for" situation. Sure it's a little more than other companies we were quoted- but we didn't want to deal with risking someone not coming at all or not coming on time."
